Our Neighbors in Need
As longtime members of the community, we believe in our ability to help those in need right here in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Many families are struggling because of the economy, and we want to provide those families with more than just insurance. To help our neighbors in need, we support Gleaners Food Bank, which delivers food to families throughout the area.
The Mountain of Food Drive
For years, we have sponsored the Mountain of Food Drive in Rochester. Over the years, high schools in the Detroit area have collected over 634,000 cans of food and over $275,000 in donations. The food drive runs from September to December, and we are happy to provide boxes and posters for your collection efforts. Contact us if you'd like to get involved.
A Range of Charities
In addition to our food donation efforts, Rick Young Insurance supports various causes and charities in the area. Some of our donations go to the Shelby Township Recycling Committee, the Cassie Hines Shoes Cancer Foundation, the Michigan Abolitionist Project, and other causes concerning diseases such as multiple sclerosis, congenital heart disease, and ALS.
