What is thedifference between HMO and PPOM? Withan HMO policy, you will choose a primary physician. You must have areferral from this physician if you wish to see anotherphysician, likea specialist. With a PPOM policy, you can go to any physician in thenetwork and no referral is required. |

Whathappens when I have an emergency and I amout-of-state? Emergency roomservices provided at non-network (non-PPOM) hospitals will be paid bymost carriers at the network benefit levels contained in the individualor group policy. |
